ShotSpotter Flex helps local law enforcement agencies by directing police to the precise loca- tion of illegal gunfre incidents, enabling frst responders to aid victims, collect evidence and quickly apprehend armed, dangerous offenders. Vigilant Solutions... announced the Hillsboro (Oregon) Police Department used its license plate reader (LPR) system to locate and apprehend a fugitive with multiple warrants. The system alerted offcers to stolen license plates on a 2014 stolen Kia Sorrento SUV. The plates were stolen from Portland, Oregon and the vehicle was reported stolen out of King County, Washington. TruckVault... announced the continuation of its popular Frank Hagel Limited Edition print campaign for 2015. Each year TruckVault commissions Hagel, an outdoor artist, to create a unique, one-of-a-kind, limited edition print. From this original pencil drawing, TruckVault prints 200 copies and has Frank sign and number them. They are then matted and framed and used to fulfll requests. Each print carries an approximate retail value of $400 and they go a long ways in helping organiza- tions fundraise throughout the year. Smith & Wesson... raised $35,000 for local charities through its annual game dinner in Springfeld, Mass. January 24. The DA's Offce also turned to the company to securely manage and protect evidence in criminal investigations.
