For fast and sim- plified functionality, the new Tactical Mode turns off the side switch and activates the momentary, turbo, strobe and low modes through the rear switch. In Outdoor Mode, it allows for standard flashlight operation; the side switch controls all six modes and the rear switch simply turns the light on and off. The PD35 TAC enlists the CREE XP-L (V5) LED technology to deliver up to 1,000 lumens in turbo output and a beam distance of up to 200 meters. Key redesign elements are the new strike face bezel and steel side switch but- ton. Like the original, the flashlight is powered by two CR123A batteries or a single rechargeable 18650 battery. The anti-roll, slip-resistant body design is made of aircraft-grade aluminum and is IPX-8 waterproof to 2 meters. These features make it resistant to damage from impact, crushing or bending, while remaining small, light and extremely powerful.
