Full GNSS/GIS functionality Leica Geosystems' Zeno CS25 GNSS tablet packs full GNSS functionality into an ergonomic and portable device with a large screen. The CS25 GNSS doesn't require a backpack or a pole mount, or additional batteries. For high accuracy data collection, it can connect with an external GNSS Antenna mounted on a pole. The rugged computer integrates an upgradable GNSS board and an attachable Helix Antenna. The new handheld rover is designed to combine the power of high-accuracy GNSS with the benefit of a large screen tablet and the Windows 7 environment. With its large 7-inch display, the Leica CS25 GNSS makes it easy to read and operate, even in bright sunlight. Circle 20 on Reader Service Card Digital evidence management Unisys has developed a highly secure solution to meet the forensic integrity standards and policy requirements of some of the world's largest police departments. Secure Image Management System (SIMS) uses advanced digital facial recognition technology to provide agencies with a 'digital vault' of stills and video data. Any law enforcement agency can implement SIMS to upload digital images from any source and securely archive the original in a digital vault. Police can then attach metadata tags such as case number, photograph time and date, and photographer name to enable easy retrieval.
