IND US T RY NE WS North Carolina Association of Chiefs of Police to provide law enforcement leadership education through American Military University COMPANY SPOTLIGHT The Armored Group and McSweeney Designs… formed a strategic alliance that will enable them to provide world class up-armored executive luxury coaches and dignitary transportation vehicles to clients all over the world. American Military University (AMU), part of American Public University System, and the North Carolina Association of Chiefs of Police (NCACP) launched the Law Enforcement Executive Leadership Program designed to help prepare chiefs of police and other key law enforcement command personnel for their leadership roles through professionally relevant education. Jointly funded by AMU, NCACP, and the offcers themselves, the AMU program will be offered in a fully online format. Offcers enrolled in the program will take three select courses in leadership and management through AMU, with the option to complete three additional courses in order to earn an undergraduate or graduate certifcate in law enforcement leadership. Offcers who wish to continue their education may then apply those courses toward either a bachelor's or master's degree in criminal justice, management or public administration at AMU.
